After demonstrating my enthusiasm for grant writing, receiving training as a SciComm Fellow, I was brought onto the Graduate Affairs team to serve as the Graduate Grant Writing Coordinator within the School of Social Sciences at UCI. My job is to find funding for students, conduct outreach, and help them draft proposals. I organize workshops, conduct surveys, create guides, and maintain databases of fellowship opportunities.

With my help, applications from UCI to the National Science Foundation and Ford Foundation are up 100%!
